What We Offer We provide a range of interventions, both brief and longer term, to help teams work more effectively. Consultancy for teams The interventions that we provide for teams range from a single day event such as a Staff Away Day or a Team Building Day to a reflective practice group which could be ongoing or time limited. A shorter intervention would generally focus on a specific area that may need attention and may have a particular goal in mind. A longer intervention usually has a wider focus such as developing team cohesiveness (see our approach). Teams that collaborate together are more motivated Workshops We have devised two specific workshops to meet the challenges of the modern workplace. A range of techniques are used including discussion, reflection and small and large group work. Meeting the challenge of difficult situations Difficult situations are an inevitable feature of organisational life. What brings about these situations can be anything from a major event such as a reoganisation or a change in management or problems with a client group. It can be hard to recognise what is happening and why. This workshop is designed to address the impact that such situations can evoke. Meeting the challenge of change Constant change and uncertainty is a feature of organisational life. Teams and individuals frequently find themselves feeling undermined with having to adapt to the new environment. The uncertainty generated by change can raise anxieties and tensions. It often beings to the fore underlying difficulties as well as disrupting staff relations. This workshop will help with making sense of what is happening and developing ways of working together creatively to manage the stress and complexities of change. We can also create individually tailored workshops to address specific issues. Consultancy for individuals We also work with individuals as they can greatly benefit from having a reflective space. This enables a deeper understanding of issues at work and their role in the team and the wider organisation. Individual coaching and mentoring provides this. See our approach for more details. We can provide the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® for individuals or as part of a team building event. The way we work is to arrange an initial meeting with you in your organisation for which there is no charge. In this meeting we explore what would be the most appropriate intervention. This might be working with the whole team, or the individual manager (separately or together). |
